Email Setup Instructions
Click on your email program below to get instructions/settings for your Milwaukee PC email account
PLEASE NOTE: If your program is not listed, please contact your local Milwaukee PC store for assistance. Milwaukee PC will not guarantee compatibility with different email programs, nor will we support discontinued programs (i.e. Live Mail, Outlook Express, etc). By calling us, we can recommend a new email app that may be free of charge and/or better fit your emailing needs.

To configure your email App for use with ByteHead email, simply use the above settings with any of the App software instructions below |
Application / program settings
- Open the Mail App from the Start Menu
- Scroll down the list and choose Advanced Setup from the list
- Choose Internet email from the list.
- In the E-mail address field, enter your full email address.
- In the User name field, enter your full email address again.
- In the Password field, enter your password (remember this is case sensitive)
- In the Account name field, enter Milw PC
- Enter your name as if signing a letter in the Send your messages using the name field
- In the Incoming mail server field enter mail.milwpc.com
- For Account type, choose POP3
- In the Outgoing (SMTP) email server field enter mail.milwpc.com:26
- Remove the check marks from the 2 boxes that say Require SSL
- Click Sign In, and you’re done.
- Open the MAIL App
- Click on Settings (gear symbol)
- Choose Add Account
- Choose Advanced setup
- Select Internet email - POP or IMAP
- Enter the following information:
- Email address - your full email address
- Username - your full email address
- Password - your email password (case sensitive)
- Account Name - Milwaukee PC
- Send your messages using this name - your name as you want it to appear
- Incoming email server - mail.milwpc.com
- Account type - choose POP3
- Outgoing (SMTP) email server - mail.milwpc.com
- Put a check in Outgoing server requires authentication
- Put a check in Use the same username and password for sending email
- Make sure there is NO check in Require SSL for incoming email
- Make sure there is NO check in Require SSL for outgoing email
- Click Sign in
- Open the Outlook App
- Select the File menu, choose Add Account
- Choose Manual setup or additional server types and click Next
- Choose POP or IMAP and click Next
- Enter your name as you would want it to show who the mail is from.
- Enter your full email address.
- Select POP3 from the Account Type drop down list.
- Incoming mail server should be mail.milwpc.com
- Outgoing mail server should be mail.milwpc.com
- Under Login Information your User Name is your full email address
- Enter your password and put a check mark in Remember Password.
- Make sure there is NOT a check in Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
- Click on the More settings button.
- A new window will appear. Go to the Outgoing Server tab.
- Make sure there is a check in My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication
- Make sure Use same settings as my incoming mail server is the choice selected.
- Chose the Advanced tab.
- Incoming server (POP3) should be 110, and Outgoing server (SMTP) should be 26
- Make sure there is NOT a check in This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)
- Click OK to close the "Internet E-mail Settings" window, then click Next on the "Add New Account" window.
- Outlook will test the settings, and you should get a "Congratulations! All test completed successfully." window. Click Close
- Click Finish to close the setup window.
- Open the Outlook App
- Select the File menu, choose Add Account
- Enter your full email address. Click the Advanced options.
- Put a check mark in Let me set up my account manually and click Connect.
- Select POP.
- Enter your password and click Connect.
- A box will pop-up with your email address, click Cancel.
- You will see a "Something went wrong" message, chose Change Account Settings.
- Incoming mail server should be mail.milwpc.com and Port 110
- Put a check in
- Make sure there is NOT a check in Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
- Outgoing mail server should be mail.milwpc.com and Port 26
- Make sure there is NOT a check in Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
- Click on Next
- Enter your password, and click Connect
- Open the Outlook App
- Select the File menu, choose Add Account
- Enter your full email address. Click the Advanced options.
- Put a check mark in Let me set up my account manually and click Connect.
- Select POP.
- Enter your password and click Connect.
- A box will pop-up with your email address, click Cancel.
- You will see a "Something went wrong" message, chose Change Account Settings.
- Incoming mail server should be mail.milwpc.com and Port 110
- Put a check in
- Make sure there is NOT a check in Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
- Outgoing mail server should be mail.milwpc.com and Port 26
- Make sure there is NOT a check in Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)
- Click on Next
- Enter your password, and click Connect
- Click Tools, and then click Accounts
- Click E-mail Account
- In the E-mail Address field, enter your full email address
- In the Password field, enter your email password (case sensitive)
- In the User name field, enter your full email address
- Select POP3 server type and enter mail.milwpc.com
- Enter an incoming server port: 110
- Select SMTP server type and enter mail.milwpc.com
- Enter an outgoing server port: 26
- Click Add Account
- Click More Options
- From the Authentication menu, select User Name and Password
- In the User name field, enter the full email address
- In the Password field, enter the password for the email account
- Click OK
- Open the Outlook App
- Select the Preferences menu, choose Account
- Click the + sign, choose New Account
- Type your full email address, click Continue.
- Type your password, select Add Account.
- Select Done.
- Launch Mail.
- If the Welcome to Mail window does not display, select Add Account from the File menu.
- Complete the following fields, and then click Continue.
- Full Name — The name to display on your email.
- Email Address — Your full email address.
- Password — Your email account password.
- Complete the following fields, and then click Continue.
- Account Type — Select POP3
- Description — mail.milwpc.com
- Incoming Mail Server — mail.milwpc.com
- User Name — Your full email address.
- Password — Your email account password.
- If prompted for Incoming Mail Security, select Password and then click Continue.
- Complete the following fields, and then click Continue.
- Description — mail.milwpc.com
- Outgoing Mail Server — mail.milwpc.com
- Use Authentication — Select this option.
- User Name — Your full email address.
- Password — Your email account password.
- If prompted for Outgoing Mail Security, select Password and then click Continue.
- Select Take account online, and then click Create.
- Open your device's email application.
- If you already have an email account set up, press Menu and tap Accounts. Press Menu again and tap Add account.
- Enter your full email address and password (case sensitive), and click Next.
- Tap IMAP
- Enter the following information:
- Username: your full email address
- Password: your email password
- IMAP server: mail.milwpc.com
- Port: 143
- Select Require sign-in
- Make sure your Username (your full email address) and Password (case sensitive) are correct.
- Tap Next
- Tap Next again.
- Name your account Milw PC
- Enter the name you want to display on outgoing messages.
- Tap Done
- Go to Settings
- Go to Passwords & Accounts
- Tap Add Account
- Tap Other
- Tap Add Mail Account
- Complete the following fields:
- Name — The name to display on your email
- Email — Your full email address
- Password — Your email password (case sensitive)
- Description — Your full email address
- Tap Next
- Tap IMAP
- Enter your Incoming Mail Server information:
- Host Name — mail.milwpc.com
- User Name — Your full email address
- Password — Your email password (case sensitive)
- Enter your Outgoing Mail Server information:
- Host Name — mail.milwpc.com
- User Name — Your full email address
- Password — Your email password (case sensitive)
- Tap Next, and then tap Next again
- It will attempt to verify your account, this will fail.
- It will say "Cannot connect using SSL". Click No
- Click Next again. Now choose Save
- Click Save again. This will return to the Passwords & Accounts screen.
- Click on your email address in the list. Click on your email address again on the next screen
- Scroll down to SMTP and click on it
- Under Primary Server click on mail.milwpc.com
- Turn OFF the choice for Use SSL
- Click on Server Port and change it to 26 then click Done
- Click on Account in the upper left. Now click on Done
