Since 1989, Milwaukee PC has been providing quality service and repairs of computers for our customers. An evaluation of the computer based on your problem description. May include repair of unit if only needs a minor amount of labor after diagnostics completed. Includes basic disassembly of unit if needed. We also will make recommendations for upgrade options, and repair estimates if more extensive repairs required.

 Memory Installation

Purchase memory from Milwaukee PC and get it installed free of charge. Excludes models that require more than 5 minutes to disassemble to install or units that need BIOS updates. Didn't purchase the memory from Milwaukee PC? That's ok, we can install it for you also. Price for installation depends on what all we have to do, so ask the technician when you bring your machine in.

 External Hardware Installation

Professional installation of hardware will limit issues with that item. When a new item is installed into or connected to a computer, the proper drivers/software must be installed to make sure the computer knows how to connect to and use that item. We will install a single external hardware item, such as a printer, etc., any external item. Includes installing drivers/software.

 Internal Hardware Installation

Professional installation of hardware will limit issues with that item. When a new item is installed into or connected to a computer, the proper drivers/software must be installed to make sure the computer knows how to connect to and use that item. With some computers, you also have the issues of reconnecting all the tiny cables/connectors inside a unit. Let our experienced technicians deal with all the cables and possible other issues that come with hardware installation. We will install a single internal hardware item, such as a motherboard, screen replacement, hard drive, etc., any internal item. Includes installing drivers/software.

 Virus, Spyware, & Malware

Viruses, Spyware, & Malware are some of the biggest problems for people today. They can do things from slowing down your computer to stealing or damaging your information! Once your machine is infected, getting it clean can be extremely difficult for most people. When you bring your computer in for Virus/Spyware, we'll clean up your system, evaluate it for upgrades, make sure you have anti-virus/anti-spyware protection software and that it is up to date, and ensure your system has the latest Windows updates. Note: Some Virus/Spyware/Malware infections may require a Format and Reload of the operating system to properly clean the computer. Data Backup not included if Format and Reload is required.

 Install Operating System

Getting Windows up and running on a computer can be a bit of an experience. It's not just install Windows, but you have to configure the drivers for the computer so it knows how to use all the equipment inside. Then you still have to download and install all the updates. When you have Milwaukee PC install Windows, we install the drivers and latest Windows Updates. We will also install one productivity package (like Office), one anti-virus package and perform anti-virus software updates (software provided by customer). Note: Data Backup not included with Operating System installation.

Basic Data Backup & Restore

 Single User's Data

Your data is important to you, but do you have a backup copy of it? What is the common types of data that get lost? Data files commonly consist of items you create/download/save to your computer. This usually includes documents (letters, etc.), pictures, music, videos, favorite/bookmarked websites, and locally stored e-mails. When you have your computer repaired, or get a new computer, how to you ensure you don't lose your files? We will backup up your data to either a drive you provide or to one of our temporary drives. Milwaukee PC will then restore your data to their respective locations for a single user (if applicable).

It is recommended that you backup any important data before bringing the system in for service.
